Uruguay— Tattoo scenes & cities

The Montevideo Portal site reported on 22 November 2014 on the Montevideo tattoo convention, held over two days in the atrium of the Intendencia de Montevideo, where the public could watch the tattooists work free of charge. Four judges, including the Argentine Diego of the Metronome brand, scored entries by category (Full Color, New School, Realism, Black & Grey); a Brazilian tattooist won the Realism category with a Wolverine done in eight hours on the back of a fellow countryman.

The activities calendar of the Uruguayan Ministry of Tourism, in an entry with no publication date, lists an International Tattoo Convention from 8 to 10 November 2019 at Kibón Avanza in Montevideo. The event is described there as "declared of tourist interest" and presented as an exchange between national and foreign artists.
